Subsystem Lab was launched in 2025 to explore how technology, art, and storytelling can merge into new forms of expression. Born from a desire to make the invisible emotional layers of machines visible, the studio builds poetic and experimental experiences using robotics, sound, motion, and spatial design.
The work blends engineering and imagination — each project is a question, a gesture, a system that invites human response. Subsystem exists at the edge of culture and code, creating installations and concepts that feel alive, curious, and strangely intimate. Whether in a gallery, on stage, or in a retail space, the lab reimagines our relationship to machines and to each other.

Partnering with robotics company Icosium, we integrate robotic arms into creative production — using automation to achieve precision, dynamic motion, and immersive storytelling. Through this collaboration, we explore the artistic potential of robotics across visual arts, live events, and interactive experiences, pushing the boundaries of how machines can perform, move, and connect with audiences.
