L’atay podcast.
podcast - since 2018
Dual voices, shared over tea.
L’Atay is a French-language podcast born from the need to hear ourselves in stories — to speak freely, in our own codes, about identity, family, culture, and everything in between. It started in 2018, after a spontaneous conversation between friends turned into a recorded moment of truth. What followed was a series of open, unfiltered episodes that reflect the richness and contradictions of growing up between cultures.
Each episode begins with a few words, a shared memory, a theme — and unfolds into a raw, collective reflection. L’Atay gives space to voices often left out of mainstream conversations, especially those from the Maghrebi and broader immigrant diasporas in France. Over time, the podcast has grown beyond audio into live events, dinners, screenings, and even a print magazine. It’s more than a podcast. It’s a space to exist — and to exist loudly.
